About
Teresa MacFarlane opened Rockin Realty Inc July 21,2018 with a blessing ceremony. She realized her dream of being a Broker-In-Charge and owner, with many years of experience as a REALTOR.
A Gaston native, she grew up in a mill community. Watching her widowed mother provide for them both by working manual labor, Teresa quickly learned the lesson of self-motivation. She learned this lesson so well that Teresa graduated from high school in her junior year at the age of 16 and became a highly productive self-starter who continues to exceed expectations today.
Also a certified broker, Teresa is an assertive, dedicated agent for her purchasing and selling clients, as well as for her profession. A member of the Gaston Association of Realtors (GAR), and a member of several committees. Teresa has served this community organization for several years. She has contributed as a Liaison, chaired several committees, and served on the Board of Directors. Teresa was one of 11 agents to complete North Carolina Association of Realtors Leadership Academy in 2015.
Teresa was voted President of the Gaston Association of REALTORS for 2013 and was also REALTOR of the Year for 2013. Teresa has developed a reputation of dependability and honesty that has earned her the trust and respect of her peers. And much of her work with GAR has been in Legislative/Political Action.
So, you can feel confident in Teresa’s knowledge of the many aspects of the sales/purchasing process, as well as her integrity, working for your best interest. Teresa’s motivated attitude and high energy are put into everything she does.
A mother of two, and Grandmother of three, Teresa gives the same kind of special attention and focus to her clients, as she does her own family. For many years Teresa has served as president of her children’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), contributed as Parent Advisory Chair for Gaston County Schools, was also PTO President for my Granddaughter’s Elementary School, and is currently a Parent Advocate for parents of special needs children.
Taking such an active role in education, there was little doubt her two children went on to college; her son to UNCC and her daughter at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. In addition to her love for her children, Teresa also enjoys great satisfaction being a Hope for Gaston (H4G) volunteer, aiding low-income homeowners.
Teresa cares about her clients and is respectful of their needs, regardless of their price points. Whether you are looking to upgrade or downsize, are a first-time home buyer, dealing with an estate, or divorce settlement, or working through a HUD program, you and your family will find personal attention, and a friend working hard, and exceeding expectations, on your side.
Let Teresa help you get to where you want to be…and you can start right now.
